    Public Art Master Plan

In response to Cultural Nexus’ call for a “new vision for public art,” Cultural Affairs convened a Public Art Task Force and worked with the Commission to expand the focus to include a citywide Public Art Plan, currently in development. The Public Art Master Plan is intended to prioritize public art project development and placement city wide. By instituting broad goals and objectives, the plan will unify current public art program guidelines and identify funding sources for implementation. An Advisory Group will vet input gathered via public community meetings and stakeholder interviews. A Plan will be presented to Council in 2012.
