    The Human Services and Recreation Department invites you to join us in our programs and activities which serve people of all ages and abilities and can provide you with an opportunity to enhance your life by meeting new friends and neighbors, exploring the arts, learning about community services, developing skills and so much more!
    Mission Statement 

    To preserve and improve the physical, social, and economic health of Pasadena neighborhoods by delivering inclusive, innovative, and progressive recreational and human service programs; the Human Services & Recreation Department is committed to providing the City of Pasadena with a wonderful place to live, work, and play which contributes to a connected, healthier vibrant, and diverse community.

The new brochure cover features colorful pinwheel shaped imagery that is representative of the stages of life and the community we are proud to be a part of. Allow us to be a part of your vibrant summer and sign up for one of our programs today! Spring early-bird registration opened Monday, February 27, 2017 for Pasadena residents and PUSD students. Spring general registration opened for all activities on Monday, March 6, 2017 for Pasadena residents and non-residents.

    Summer Day Camps

    Important Day Camp Registration Dates

    Pasadena residents get first pick of our popular summer camps! Online early-bird registration begins April 17, 2017 at 
    www.cityofpasadena.net/reserve. Walk-in registration begins April 24, 2017 for residents and May 1, 2017 for non-residents. Customers are welcome to visit any City of Pasadena Community Center or Recreation Center to register. For information on our summer day camps please click here

    Summer Aquatics
    Whether you’re just learning to swim, training for an event, staying in shape, or just having a good time, our Aquatics program has something for everyone. Open to the entire community, our impressive array of aquatic programs and classes is designed for all ages and skill levels. Early registration begins Saturday, May 14 at Villa-Parke Community Center, 363 E. Villa St. Online and walk-in registration begins on Monday, May, 15.     Youth Football Clinic featuring Marcus Robertson & Chad Brown

    Saturday, June 10, 2017
    9:00 a.m.
    Rose Bowl Stadium, 1001 Rose Bowl Dr.
    Boys & Girls ages 6-13

    Run onto the field from the tunnel like a player in the Rose Bowl Game!  Join former NFL standouts and Pasadena natives Marcus Robertson and Chad Brown for an action packed day of football. This youth football clinic will feature great coaches and staff providing drills, skills lessons, challenge matches, and obstacle courses. Lunch will also be provided for all camp participants! Parents/guardians you are invited as well, as stadium tours will be provided. The Rose Bowl Game Youth Football Clinic will be limited to the first 250 applicants.  Registration will only be available online at www.rosebowlgameyouthclinic.com

    Fee: $80 per team

    Come compete for a championship in a fun, family-friendly environment with players of all levels, ages 16 and up. There will be prizes, entertainment, give-aways and more! Each team is guaranteed two 40-minute games.
