Pasadenans who speak Spanish are invited to attend the last in a series of public workshops focusing on an update of the transportation section of the city’s General Plan. The future of driving, biking, walking and riding public transit in Pasadena will be discussed in Spanish Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Villa-Parke Community Center, 363 E. Villa St.
The General Plan, Pasadena’s overall long-term guide to development, is the result of a great deal of public involvement. For the past year, city staff have been collecting public input as they update the land use and mobility elements of the plan. Mobility involves transportation and how people and goods can move most efficiently through the city.
