PUBLIC INVITED TO COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON DRAFT HAHAMONGNA ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
PASADENA, Calif.—The public is invited to attend one or both of the upcoming meetings July 12 and July 14 regarding preparation for the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) by the City’s Public Works Department on the Hahamongna area of Upper Arroyo Seco.
The City of Pasadena’s Public Works Department will prepare the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and community participation is a critical part of the EIR process.
These meetings are being held prior to drafting the EIR document to maximize public participation and community input. The two meetings are planned for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 12 and 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14. Both meetings will be held at the Salvation Army Fellowship Hall, 960 East Walnut St., Pasadena, CA 91106. Parking is available on Mentor Avenue, south of Walnut Street.
The previously approved Hahamongna Watershed Park (HWP) Master Plan, one of the City Council-adopted Arroyo Seco Plans, outlines a number of projects for the park, but the environmental review needs to occur before those projects can proceed.
For more information on the proposed Hahamongna projects or the draft Environmental Impact Report, go online to www.hahamongna.com/mbmu or call (626) 744-4321.
