UCLA vs. Washington Game Nov. 15 Attracts Big Crowd, Heavy Traffic Expected


 Patrons Encouraged to Carpool, Use Shuttle Buses or Gold Line Train Service --Please Designate a Driver!

 PASADENA, C– The UCLA Bruins will take on the University of Washington at the Rose Bowl Stadium on Friday night, November15, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. (PT).  Patrons should anticipate heavy traffic throughout the area and it is strongly recommended that all visitors plan ahead to avoid delays. 

 Heavy traffic, congested streets and delays are anticipated in and around the City of Pasadena.  Please refrain from using GPS or Internet printed directions as they do not take into account traffic conditions or indicate available parking.  

 Patrons should consider carpooling or using designated shuttle buses to alleviate congestion and to reduce travel times.  The use of carpools and shuttle buses by patrons can take more than 8,000 cars off the roadways. 


General Parking: Located north of the Rose Bowl Stadium on the Brookside Golf  Course.  All parking lots open at 12 p.m. and parking passes will be sold on game day for only $25 


Parking Lot Policies: All general parking lots, including the RV parking, open at 12 p.m.  Overnight car parking is prohibited, with RVs as the exception.  All parking is on a first-come, first-parked basis.  Parking lots close 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game.  


Disabled Parking: Available at various location around the Rose Bowl Stadium on a first-come, first parked basis.  All disabled vehicles must display a valid State of issuance disabled placard and registration upon entering these lots, as all IDs and placards will be checked and verified by a police officer.  Disabled parking is also available at Parsons Engineering Parking Lot, at Union Street and Delacey Street in Old Pasadena. All shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. 


Public Transportation: The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (METRO) Gold Line is an alternative for patrons, with the Memorial Park Station stop conveniently located two blocks from the free shuttle bus to the Rose Bowl Stadium.  Please visit www.metro.net and search “Gold Line” for light rail information. Patrons wishing to use the Metro Rail should take the Gold Line to Memorial Park Station (Holly Street) and walk two blocks to the Parsons Engineering shuttle lot.
