PUBLIC ADVISORY FOR ROSE BOWL STADIUM SPECIAL EVENT: ARRIVE EARLY FOR BEYONCÉ AND JAY-Z CONCERT AND AVOID TRAFFIC DELAYS AUGUST 2 AND 3, 2014
PASADENA, Calif.—Beyoncé/Jay-Z concert goers should arrive early to avoid last-minute traffic & parking congestion that may delay entry into the Rose Bowl Stadium for the much-anticipated shows Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2-3, 2014.
Rose Bowl Stadium parking will be available both concert days beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those arriving after 4 p.m. likely will be directed to remote parking areas north of the Brookside Golf Course, more than 1 mile away from the stadium.
Attendees are encouraged to carpool or take the Park-and-Ride buses from the shuttle lot at Parsons in Old Pasadena, West Union and North Delacey Street. Cost is $10 per person.
Pasadena’s Police and Fire personnel will be on hand for your protection, plus any medical and emergency responses. Remember, If You See Something, Say Something by calling (626) 744-4241. For life-threating emergencies, always call 9-1-1. Be prepared to speak calmly and to clearly identify the nature of your call and your location.
Residents in the Rose Bowl Stadium area are also reminded that it is anticipated there will be heavy traffic in the area similar to any large event at the stadium.
All motorists and bicyclists traveling into and out of the area are advised to use extra caution; slow down and to follow the directions of all public safety personnel. Follow temporary directional signs and do not follow GPS guidance instructions.
In addition to arriving early, attendees are also encouraged to arrive early in order to enjoy the City of Pasadena and its wide variety of shops and restaurants for the total concert experience.
