Holiday Hours

The Pasadena Film Office will be closed every other Friday starting this Friday due to staffing losses and budget issues. The City of Pasadena as a whole had been on this closed Friday schedule for the last several years, but the FilmOffice has spread our staffing resources to stay open every Friday.

Unfortunately, given the current financial climate and staffing losses, this is no longer possible. This could change in the future and we will keep you posted of course. But in the meantime, I would be mindful to contact the Film Office and file applications on Thursdays or Mondays to avoid the closed Fridays.

The Pasadena Film Office will be CLOSED Monday September 6th in observance of Labor Day.

The Pasadena Film Office is CLOSED on the following Fridays in 2010:

7/16, 7/30, 8/13, 8/27, 9/10, 9/24, 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 11/12 (Holiday), 11/19, 11/26 (Holiday), 12/3, 12/17, 12/24 (Holiday), 12/31 (Holiday).

About the Film Office

The Pasadena Film Office coordinates all on-location production (features, television series, commercials, student films, independent films, still fashion shoots, etc.) in the City of Pasadena. We also market our City to the entertainment industry as a potential filming location.

SERVICES  PROVIDED  BY  THE  PASADENA  FILM  OFFICE

• A Pasadena specific location (scouting) library -- on the Internet
• Coordination of all city permits and logistics (police, file, public works staffing, etc.) for all productions coming to Pasadena
• Mediation of disputes between local residents/merchants and film crews
• Assistance to local residents/merchants in promoting their properties to the entertainment industry
• Safety review of all proposed on-location productions
