Nearly two dozen community members have stepped up to serve on Pasadena’s 2009 General Plan Update Advisory Committee (GPUAC), charged with guiding the city’s community outreach program and making sure diverse views are woven into the vital document. Eleven primary members and 11 alternates have been appointed by the Mayor and City Council, to represent each Council district as well as the Pasadena Unified School District and Chamber of Commerce. Many of the appointees also sit on the city’s other advisory commissions. The GPUAC meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at: Fair Oaks Community Room, Renaissance Plaza (unless otherwise noted) 649 N.
