Pasadena In Focus
July - August 2010

Teens on the Scene

Sure, we’re miles from the beach but Pasadena teens ages 13 to 18 can still “Make Waves” with Pasadena Public Library’s teen reading program.

Stop by Pasadena Central Library or your nearest branch library now through Friday, Aug. 20, to fill out a prize entry form every time you finish a book, magazine, graphic novel or audio book. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your book, sign your name and drop the slip in a special box.

Drawings will be held once a week. All entries will be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

Also watch for fun teen activities from monopoly tournaments to an ice cream class or sign up for a free “Try It @ Your Library Teen Camp.” You can learn new skills in everything from video game animation to robotics, modern dance, comic book illustration, dry photography and much more.
