The city of Pasadena has beauty and sophistication not only in its overall appearance, but in its new logo. The bold new logo marks Pasadena as an exciting, desirable place to be.
The new logo has a stylized Craftsman rose meant to spark immediate recognition and emotional connection to our city. The logo was originally developed by the Convention and Visitors Bureau to catch the eye of tourists and meeting planners looking for an exciting destination. After extensive research, a city marketing team concluded that Pasadena is “simply more” than most people think.
Using a single image between the city and our CVB helps to develop a "brand" that people can associate with Pasadena overall, including city programs.
The new logo is not to be confused with the official city seal, with its traditional crown and key. The city seal will still be used for official city documents and records, whereas the new logo will be seen on all city cultural event materials and other marketing tools.
