Get that Repair Done with MASH

House1 Did you know you can get help with home repairs, clean-ups and improvements – at little or no charge?

The city’s MASH (Maintenance Assistance and Services to Homeowners) program was launched in 1979 to help low-income residents spruce up their homes.

MASH provides free house painting, minor exterior repairs, energy-saving solar screens and wheelchair ramps to low-income homeowners and retired or disabled seniors on fixed incomes.

MASH has given low-income and at-risk residents the training and experience they need to find solid jobs.

Residents raved about the service, so we expanded it! All Pasadena residents and business owners, regardless of age or income, can now hire a MASH crew for reasonably priced yard clean-ups, window and screen repairs, house painting, brush clearance, moving or other tough jobs. Most important, All MASH workers come with supervisors, insurance and their own tools, and they’re eager to please!
