Americafest 4th of July at Rose Bowl Stadium
Monday, July 4
The 85th annual 4th of July Celebration will pay tribute to Pasadena’s quasquicentennial by presenting a good old-fashioned Family Variety Show, with a marching band, motorcycle stunts, Mariachi Divas and the Jan and Dean Show at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Admission charge $13; Active Military with ID, and children 7 and under free.

Pasadena Heritage Walking Tour
Pasadena will hold an Old Pasadena Walking Tour on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 9 a.m. that focuses on the city’s early history and 125th anniversary. Old Pasadena is one of the finest examples of downtown revitalization in the nation. The 90-minute docent-guided walk through the streets and alleyways will feature special opportunities not typically available in other tours. Enjoy breakfast treats and the chance to win architectural books and Pasadena Heritage merchandise. Tickets are $10.
