Pasadena Water & Power

  • Energy Efficiency Goals

EE GraphicPasadena Water and Power is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing sustainability throughout our community.

The Pasadena City Council has consistently adopted energy efficiency goals for PWP that are amongst the most aggressive of any utility in the state.

PWP’s current energy efficiency goal of 12,750 MWh per year for fiscal years 2014 through 2023 represents over 1% of forecast annual electricity sales to PWP's customers during this time period.

By meeting these goals, PWP anticipates that its electric loads will not increase, and may even decrease, over the next ten years.
