    Water Efficiency Rebates and Incentive Programs

    PWP's Turf Removal Program - Get $1 per square foot of water-thirsty turf that you replace with sustainable plants and water-permeable groundcover 

    Please remember that an application must be submitted and a pre-inspection must be completed BEFORE you kill or remove your grass turf.  

    MWD's SoCal Water$mart  Program* -  

    PWP offers a number of rebates on water-efficient devices in partnership with the Metropolitan Water District's " SoCal Water$mart." All rebates listed below are effective as of 7/1/2012. 

       Increased! High Efficiency Toilets (1.28 gallons per flush or less) $200

    Increased! Zero & Ultra-low Water Urinals (ZWU -ULFU)  ≤ 0.25 gpf >>> $300 

    Increased! High Efficiency Clothes Washer (Available only for in-unit washers. Clothes washers used in common area laundry facilities do not qualify. Multi-family properties with 2-4 units are considered residential.) >>> $300 

    Increased! Weather-Based Irrigation Controller >>> $50/station

    Increased! Rotating Nozzles for Pop-up Spray Heads Retrofits >>> $7/nozzle 

    Increased! High Efficiency Nozzles for Commercial-Grade Rotary Sprinklers (Upgrade/New Construction) >>> $20/set 

    * MWD's SoCal Water$mart rebates listed above are special rates for PWP multi-family customers only (5 units or more), made possible by funds from PWP. Funds are limited, and rebate amounts are subject to change at any time. A REBATE RESERVATION MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO PURCHASE FOR ALL MULTI-FAMILY REBATES.     Donate to Project APPLE

    • Project APPLE (Assisting Pasadena People with Limited Emergencies): Provides a one-time grant of up to $100 per year to help eligible residential customers keep their power on.
    • Your company can make a donation online, by calling 744-4420 or by checking the Project APPLE box on your bill.
